The Wisdom Web: Global Governance in 2100

In 2100, a “wisdom web” of enlightened leaders oversees an inclusive network of global citizens who collaboratively anticipate challenges and formulate visionary goals. Leaders compassionately place each individual in a position where he or she can contribute to those goals. Researchers model local and global communities using highly sophisticated online simulations so that new ideas and policies can be piloted in virtual space before being implemented in the real world. At the dawn of the twenty-second century, a robust understanding of and appreciation for the human experience in all its dimensions has provided for wiser and more compassionate governance.
