As a nonprofit, nonpartisan association, the World Future Society relies almost exclusively on membership fees and on the generous support of its members. Here are a few of the special projects that the Society seeks your help in developing:
The Susan Echard Student Scholarship Program
In order to encourage more secondary school and college students to take an active role in shaping the future for themselves, their community and the world, we are providing registrations, lodging and expenses for students from around the globe. $150 covers a single registration, $500 provides for lodging and meals, and $1,000 assists in underwriting transportation to the conference. Active and committed young futurists are our best hope for the next generation, so please contribute what you can.
Alternatively, you may send a check, payable to World Future Society, with "Susan Echard Student Scholarship Program" in the memo line, mailed to:

If you are a student interested in applying for a conference scholarship, you may do so here.
Education and Youth Programs
In addition to encouraging more young people to attend World Future Society meetings by offering reduced registration rates, we would like to develop more materials and programs of interest to younger members, such as youth-oriented chapters, discounts on Society membership, teachers' guides to THE FUTURIST, discounted bulk subscriptions to THE FUTURIST for classrooms, and a special area on the Web site. Without your generous donations, none of these projects can be realized.
The Society now has more than 120 Chapters in some 40 nations. Donations will help us provide more services for the Chapters, such as membership and mailing list management, supplies of World Future Society information and materials, promotion and publicity, and more.
With support, the World Future Society's existing products and services can continue improving and growing. Won't you help?

The World Future Society's bequest program allows you to remember the Society in your will. If you already have a will, you can use a codicil, which can then be attached to your will.
See a sample codicil to discuss with your tax advisor.
