The Futurist Upday "More-Fertile Forests can Fight Greenhouse Effect" brought up a thought I have had for some time. Is recycling paper bad for the environment. Granted landfills pose significant problems, but would having more agricultural forests for the production of pulp be beneficial to the greenhouse gas problem? If we want to reduce greenhouse gases, should we store carbon in tree, pulp or paper form?

I would like more data on this.
