RE: LAPTOP DOCTORS
Cool story about Laptop Doctors. I'm researching which technologies would be helpful to a medical banking proof of concept to answer Dr. David Brailer's National Healthcare Information Network Call for Proposals re: Regional Healthcare Information Organizations. This PoC will involve Healthcare Savings Accounts, Electronic Healthcare Records and a Charitable Communities Network. http://edodds.blogs.com/conmergence/2005/05/medical_banking.html

Hopefully, when the NHIN and WiMAX, wi-fi carmeshes are built out these kinds of sensors will be built into cars (OnStar, Sat Radio), cellphones, PCs and set top boxes for cable, dsl and ftth.

RE: JUNE 2005 UPDATE
So far I don't see any ideas on how to deal with the BIG 21st century problems like the Peak Oil crisis, our problems with China, etc.
