The future of education is education about the future! Futures education needs to bring in cutting-edge knowledge and technologies impacting our human and planetary futures. Appropriate technologies need to be integrated with a solid futures studies background and forward-thinking educational principles and practices.
The panel will include international faculty from different countries who are participating in a new MA program on Innovation and Foresight, organized by Fabienne Goux Baudiment, at the Universite d’Angers in France. Fabienne will give an overview on the goals and structure of this MA program and the challenges in getting this MA approved, followed by various futures faculty sharing background about the courses they will each be teaching, in terms of content and various futures methodologies and teaching tools being used.
