Corporate Innovation 2030: Revolution or Reinvention?

Innovation in a reinvented world is about sustainability and responsible return on investment.

The “New Normal” is a term first used by Roger McNamee, a well-respected technology investor, who defined it as a time of solid opportunity—if you know how to play the game.
The reinvented world of business will profoundly impact world leaders and workers in the decade ahead. Companies capable of transforming their organizations during this period of “Great Disruption” will thrive in the reinvented world; however, the reverse holds true as well. Executives and leadership teams who cannot navigate and manage their inflection points in designing, building, and sustaining innovation will increasingly discover just how uneven the playing field can be in this new world of business.

Participants will design the corporation of the future. Will you redesign big business based on the evolutionary cycle of today or scrap and rebuild in response to economic and structural upheavals of tomorrow? What track will you choose?

Who should attend: Business leaders, educators, corporate entrepreneurs, innovation catalysts, and other game changers.

What they’ll learn: Track #1: One group of participants would be responsible for designing a corporate reinvention of the future if business continues to evolve at the pace and in the same manner as today. Table participants will be assigned a role (CEO, Senior Leader, HR, Engineer, etc.).

Track #2: The other group of participants will be responsible for redesigning the corporation of the future triggered by massive changes in business (economic, demographic, and psychographic), where the typical structure (CEO, Senior Leaders, etc.) no longer exists.

How this new knowledge can be applied: As participants develop their Corporate 2030 scenarios, two facilitators (one for each track) will capture on flip charts or laptops the connecting points and common denominators that can serve as bridges in preparing corporations from where the workplace is today to where the workforce must navigate to in future. Table participants representing each track will share their key learning and takeaway “gems” with other participants. Track facilitators will report out their findings and insights as a final wrap-up.
