WorldFuture 2008:  An Outstanding Conference!   It is always a real pleasure to hear from so many attendees that a conference surpassed all their expectations, and this one clearly did.  Outstanding keynotes and special events, outstanding participation from all over the world in unprecedented numbers, a substantial increase in youth attendance (on a record number of scholarships) from a range of countries and outstanding youth events!  These events included an incredible session from the Stanford Virtual High School as part of the Education Summit, a thrilling Future City dialog with a winning team in the national finals, and a three-hour standing-room scenario building event involving youth from two continents.  The conference closed with a vision of the global future of medicine and a moving presentation to Michael Marien of a Distinguished Service award for his 29 years as Editor of Future Survey.
